Annapolis, Maryland
Civil/Structural Engineer
Have you ever wondered who finds the causes to accidents or product failures? Have you ever wanted to be a detective and take something apart and see how it works or if the design protected hazards from the consumer? The CED Annapolis, Maryland location is currently looking for a Civil and/or Structural Engineer that is a problem solver to perform investigations into accidents and product failures.Candidates need to have the following Qualifications:
- B.S. in civil engineering
- Specialty in structural engineering a plus.
- Advanced degrees and professional engineering (P.E.) license is a plus.
- At least 5 years experience dealing with civil and structural related issues.
The ideal candidate must also be willing to occasionally travel on a day or overnight basis to investigate accidents whether it is a construction defect, roadway design or worker safety issue. This position is well suited for an individual who is motivated and a self starter who likes working independently and not at a desk and on occasion also enjoys working outdoors.
Bio-Mechanical Engineer
Have you ever wondered who finds the causes to accidents or product failures? Have you ever wanted to be a detective and take something apart and see how it works or what contributing factors could have caused an accident? The CED Technologies Inc. is currently looking for a bio-mechanical engineer who is capable of investigating injures, modeling, crash analysis and expert testimony. Candidates need to have a B.S. or M.S. in bio-mechanical engineering (Professional Engineering License, Masters and Ph.D. credentials a plus) and at least 5 years experience. The ideal candidate must also be willing to occasionally travel on a day or overnight basis to investigate accidents whether it is consumer products, industrial accidents or vehicular accidents. This position is well suited for an individual who is motivated and a self starter who likes working independently and not at a desk and on occasion also enjoys working outdoors.
Electrical Engineer
The CED Technologies Inc. Annapolis location is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to perform investigations into electrical malfunctions in consumer products and other types of equipment. Candidates need to have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an established engineering school (P.E. License, Masters or Ph.D. in electrical or other Engineering fields a plus) and at least 5 years experience.An individual with a background in forensic engineering and safety/risk management is also a plus.
The Electrical Engineer will provide consulting services for clientele that include: primary scene analysis (site/equipment inspection), research, review of documentation, reporting of findings and expert disclosure and testimony.
The ideal candidate must also be willing to occasionally travel locally and some regional travel to investigate accidents. This position is well suited for an individual who is a self motivated, inquisitive and a self starter who likes working independently and not at a desk and on occasion also enjoys working outdoors.

Candidates need to have a B.S. in mechanical engineering (Professional Engineering License, Masters and Ph.D. credentials a plus) and at least 5 years experience. An individual who also is ACTAR certified is also a plus. The ideal candidate must also be willing to occasionally travel on a day or overnight basis to investigate accidents whether it is consumer products, industrial accidents or vehicular accidents. This position is well suited for an individual who is motivated and a self starter who likes working independently and not at a desk and on occasion also enjoys working outdoors.
