Mr. Flaherty is one of CED's electrical engineers who has experience from various engineering subjects, including nuclear and optical engineering. Mr. Flaherty is also a fire and consumer products expert and has performed numerous fire origin and cause investigations, transfer explosions and consumer product investigations.Mr. Flaherty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the United States Naval Academy, where he graduated near the top of his class, along with a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University. He served in the Navy as a nuclear propulsion plant and weapons engineer as well as an instructor. After leaving the navy, he worked as an optical and electrical engineer. Mr. Flaherty’s education, engineering and teaching experience make him one of CED's most sought after expert.
